We are ready to see some big wheels roll on the streets, with the Toyota sign on front. The new Kluger will be a durable, but still stylish, under the hood, there will purr a mighty engine. This is a real family car, I can already imagine a nice picnic with the kids, who are playing cheerful somewhere in the grass, but being able to bring everything they need in a spacious trunk.
2016 Toyota Kluger Exterior
The designers of this model were trying to make something new and exciting. Did they succeed? You will be the judge of that if you buy this car. A bold, aggressive grille aids airflow, add some LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) to this and the style and visibility are covered. It has Chromtec rood rails, that are integrated, so skiing is an option too, but when you aren’t carrying anything on the roof, the aerodynamic shape minimizes the noise coming from overhead. The Chromtec wheels look sharp with 19-inches that are standard, but XLE and LE Plus trims have unique 18-inches wheels machined-face 5-spoke alloys and LE trim features a stylish 5-spoke alloy wheels.
2016 Toyota Kluger interior
The 2016 Toyota Kluger is too high! But the designers thought about that, they made it easy to get in and out of the car by making the seats cushion height adjustable and thus giving some more room between the seat and the roofline. The seats are made of leather and are 8-way power-adjustable, heated to give you maximum comfort on all of your journeys. There is also some accent-color stitching that adds a visual contrast and a unique style. The dashboard is made out of softer materials that are easier on the fingers. Since we look so often at it, there have been some metallic accents and wood-grain added.
Engine and performance
We are talking about two smart versions of the engine, one is a 4-cylinder that makes to most out of 185 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, but it still manages an EPA-estimated 20 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. The V6 engine generates 270 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque, offering the estimated 19 mpg city and 25 mpg on highway for FWD models. Also available is the dynamic torque-control all-wheel drive (AWD). It distributes the engine power from front to rear and also manages the braking system of the vehicle, with the goal to give you a better control of the car.
