2016 Toyota Avalon Release Date and Price

For the year 2016 Toyota Avalon is reportedly getting a redesign and this comes after the 2013 redesign which gave the vehicle some fantastic upgrades, both in luxury and convenience. So we can expect great things when it comes to this new model.

From the outside we can expect some updates to the styling. Perhaps some added luxury and elegance compared to the previous models. LED headlights and tailgates are destined to make an appearance, so is the electric powered moon roof. Also a sling of new colors and trims are expected to be offered.

Inside, the new model will feature a stunning and luxurious interior styling. We can expect a great amount of comfort and support for the driver and his passengers, especially with some new leather appointed, heated seats. The newest hi-tech equipment can be expected with this new model. The dashboard will incorporate a multifunctional touch-screen display which will include some modern and helpful features. Finally, the 2016 model will also feature a Bluetooth connectivity, Toyota’s Neptune System, a braking system and an intelligent key.

This newest model will come armed with a 3.5L V6 engine that will be able to produce up to 280 horsepower and 248 ft.lb of torque. The engine will be accompanied with a six speed automatic transmission. Due to this engine upgrade, the 2016 Toyota Avalon will be generating around 12 hp more compared to the previous model. The hybrid option of the Avalon will be offered with 2AR-FXE 2.5L engine that will be paired with Nickel Hydride 244.8 V battery, which can produce up to 200 hp. Aside from the hybrid, the new Avalon will be offered in an EV, ECO and Sport option, all of whom will feature a six speed automatic transmission.

We can expect the 2016 Toyota Avalon to enter the market sometime next year. As for the price, no official information has been released yet, but we can expect them to stay similar to the prices of the current model. In that case the base price can be expected to start at $32,000, while the fully loaded model will go for $43,000.
